On October 30, at the 80th Anniversary Commemorative Conference of the Architectural Institute of Korea (AIK), Sehan Yoon was honored with the Special Contribution Award in recognition of his contributions to advancing architectural culture in Korea.

This year’s conference was held at the Korea Science and Technology Convention Center in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, alongside the AIK Fall Annual Conference. The event aimed to promote collaboration and unity within the architectural community while supporting the advancement of the construction industry and the development of architectural culture and the built environment. The Special Contribution Award was presented to experts and leaders who have helped expand the social value of architecture and contributed to the industry’s development, with a total of 17 recipients selected.

Marking its 80th anniversary, AIK announced its vision of “Preparing for the Next 100 Years of Architecture,” with plans to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and expand international exchanges to further enhance the competitiveness of Korean architecture.​
