Sehan Yoon

Since he established HAEAHN Architecture in 1990, he has been leading the company which looks ahead to the future of Architecture and prioritizes the trust of clients. He graduated from Seoul National University majoring in Architecture and obtained his master degree in the same university. He is engaged in various activities to improve the architectural culture in Korea by serving as a Vice Chairman of the Architectural Institute of Korea, Vice Chairman of Urban Design Institute of Korea, etc. He is trying to globalize Korean architecture associating with H Architecture in New York and the establishment of Iraq, Qatar and Vietnamese branches and Saudi Arabia corporations.
Taeman Kim

Taeman Kim has designed diverse fields and spaces such as Architecture design, Urban design, Landscape architecture in pursuit of bringing vitality to the city. He worked on developing new fields of designing commercial complex, master plan projects, public buildings, and he is leading major projects and suggesting new approaches for design as the Chief Design Officer of HAEAHN. He graduated from Seoul National University majoring in Architecture and obtained his master’s and Ph.D degree from the same university. He instructed design studio classes at Seoul National University and Yonsei University, and is a former visiting professor teaching urban planning studio at University of Pennsylvania. He won several AIA New York Chapter Awards, ‘Korea Architecture Award’, and ‘Seoul Architecture Prize’, and participated as an exhibitor in ‘Korean Pavilion at Venice Biennale 2012’. His major works include Seoul Memorial Park, Seoul Floating Island, The Nexen Univer-City, National Assembly Communication Building and urban design projects such as Changneung, Goyang, Master plan for Public Administration Town and Suwon Dangsu District 2.
Sangin Lee

Sangin Lee gained his architectural experience at a studio office, and later worked three years as a CEO of Kunwon Architecture, carrying out large scale projects, mainly on Multi-Complex Development Projects. He has been appointed as the new representative of HAEAHN Architecture in 2014, and is actively involved in developing the company. He graduated from Kyungil University majoring in Architecture and obtained his master’s degree at the Architecture Graduate School of Kyungpook National University. He is currently the Director of Korea Planners Association, Director of Architectural Institute of Korea, Consultant of Universal Institute of Architects, Vice President of Korean Association for Spatial Structures, Director of Korean Institute for Structural Maintenance and Inspection, Director of Korean Construction Safety Association, etc., working on various architectural activities such as urban, architecture, structure, and safety.
Kihong Nam

He has been leading HAEAHN from the very start to be a transparent and stable company and has been achieving an organized and future strategic operation method while taking charge of HAEAHN’s general management. He graduated from Seoul National University majoring in architecture and worked at SAC(Seoul Architect Consultant) International Ltd. before joining HAEAHN Architecture. He completed various programs, such as Environmental Management Policies Graduate School of Environmental Studies of Hanyang University, Urban, Regional and Environmental Policies of Seoul National University, and Global Human Resource Strategy Course of the International Management Institute. As a result he has broaden his management expertise and made HAEAHN extraordinary competitive in this field.
Jewon Lee

Jewon Lee has built various careers in the public sector with the belief that the urban space has a great impact on the quality of life of modern people. He started public service in Seoul and participated more than 30 years in the establishment of public policies and implementation of projects to create better urban space to live in. He was deeply involved in the development process for the construction of transportation infrastructure and the future utilization of the Han River. In particular, it he led the new development methods to derive synergy through public and private cooperation in the planning and implementation of development of new cities such as Magok and regeneration project. He graduated from Yonsei University majoring in Civil Engineering. After studying Transportation Engineering and Urban Planning in the universities of the US and Korea, he obtained Ph.D degree in Urban Planning. He instructed at University of Seoul and is in charge of the Urban Design Division in HAEAHN Architecture.

Kevin Park has been visionary leader bringing over 27 years of experience of project management in full value chain of premium real estate development business. Worked as Vice President of Samsung Corporation and CEO of WSP-Parsons Brinckerhoff Korea before joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2018. Currently, He is president of PCM Division in HAEAHN Architecture maintaining a solid reputation for delivering safe and high quality, cost effective technological solutions to major global and domestic clients. His business insight from successful project records in over 15 countries enables HAEAHN PCM Business Unit to advance into global market more proactively after successful delivery of Bismayah New City Project.
Changhwa Park

Changhwa Park has over 40 years of experience in public service in Gyeonggi Province, specializing in architecture and urban development. He is committed to delivering eco-friendly, high-quality architecture that balances functionality, sustainability, and cost efficiency. He played a key role in designating model districts for the Bogeumjari Housing program, including Misa District in Hanam and Wonheung District in Goyang, while leading major infrastructure projects such as turnkey developments with a focus on strategic bidding and technical evaluations. As Vice Mayor of Gwacheon, Pocheon, and Gwangmyeong, he drove integrated urban-administrative initiatives that combined urban planning with architectural innovation. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Hongik University and a Master of Urban Planning from Chung-Ang University. After retiring as a Director General in 2021, he joined HAEAHN Architecture, where he continues to support the firm’s strategic growth.

Younghak Kim

Younghak Kim graduated from Korea University with a degree in Architectural Engineering and completed advanced programs in Overseas Construction Expertise and Aviation Policy Leadership. After serving as a Naval Facilities Officer, he gained extensive experience in airport design at Samsung C&T, Samoo, and Keunjeong Architects. Since joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2017, he has led key airport projects, including Gimhae International Terminal, Incheon International Airport Phase 2, Jeju Airport Terminal, Gimpo Domestic Terminal Remodeling & FBO, and Asiana Hangar at Incheon Airport. His international work includes New Siem Reap Airport in Cambodia, Benghazi Airport Terminal in Libya, and feasibility studies for Clark and Cebu Airports in the Philippines. He has served as an Airport Design Advisor for the Busan Regional Aviation Administration and the Korea Airports Corporation, earning two Ministerial Commendations and the President’s Award from Incheon International Airport Corporation for his contributions to Korea’s airport development.

Kyungsub Bae graduated from the Department of Architecture at the University of Seoul and dedicated 35 years to public service at the Seoul Metropolitan Government. He oversaw major city-led projects, including the Hangang Park Development, Seoul World Cup Stadium, Subway Line 9, and various public office buildings. During his tenure as Director of Urban Regeneration at Seoul City and Director of Urban Environment at Gangnam District Office, he restructured urban redevelopment management systems and led reconstruction initiatives. After retiring as Deputy Director General, he joined HAEAHN Architecture in 2018, continuing to contribute to the firm’s growth.
Yoonki Kim

Yoonki Kim graduated from the Department of Architecture at Seoul National University and has gained extensive experience in construction, project management, and as a client across 21 projects worldwide. He has successfully completed three super-tall skyscrapers over 100 floors, establishing himself as a leading expert in the field. Key projects include the Petronas Twin Towers (92 floors) in Malaysia, where he helped lay the foundation for super-tall buildings in Korea, the Taipei 101 (101 floors) project as Site Manager, and the Lotte World Tower (123 floors) as CM Director. He also served as Site Manager for Parc1 (72 floors) in Yeouido and Technical Design Director for the Hyundai Global Business Center (105 floors) in Samsung-dong. In addition, he managed client-side responsibilities for projects like the Yongsan UN Base Complex and Seun District Redevelopment.

Sangsun Joo has joinded HAEAHN Architecture after his early career in Toban Architecture and dedicated to the design of commercial and mixed use projects. He has worked to create creative and new spaces in complex commercial facilities, from small retail to large shopping malls. In addition, various types of complex facilities have been designed in combination with transportation facilities such as airports, railways and terminals. From the first outdoor mall in Korea such as Ilsan Lafesta, Western Dome, and One Mount to Hyundai Department Store U-Flex, Shinsegae Centum City UEC, Dongdaegu Complex Transit Center, Starfield Cheongna, Starfield Suwon, etc. he has a variety of experience in the design of general commercial facilities. In addition, he has achieved achievements in a number of residential complexes, including Cheongju Gwell City and Wirye New City Residential Complexes, as well as a headquarters office building in Incheon International Airport and Yeosu Expo International Pavilion. He is a graduate of the Department of Architecture at Gyeongsang National University and currently serves as the head of the design division, which is responsible for the commercial, residential and complex facilities of HAEAHN Architecture.

After graduating from the Department of Architecture of the University of Seoul and the Graduate School of Architecture of Columbia University, Younghwan Byun worked at WNB+A, Samsung C&T Corporation, and WSP before joining Haeahn Architecture. Based on his experiences As a mater-planner of international airports and overseas urban development as a project manager for the world’s largest theme park in Dubai, and as a construction manager for Nine One Hannam, he executed PM tasks at HAEAHN Architecture, in charge of planning projects, Songsan Green City Complex development, Pangyo No. 2 Techno Valley facilities. Currently, as the head of the PCM Project Division at HAEAHN Architecture with experience in global projects, large-scale complex development projects, and management skills in complex programs, he aims to expand the PCM Business Unit to include comprehensive construction project management services while contributing to the sub-organization subdivided by function to have differentiated technology.

Joining HAEAHN Architecture in 1993, he has grown alongside the company as a dedicated architect. He specializes in commercial facilities, one of HAEAHN’s core areas of expertise. He began his career with the Hyundai Department Store in Cheonho and has since contributed to numerous projects, including Yongsan Railway Station I’Park Mall, Ilsan Lafesta, Shinsegae Department Store in Jukjeon, and Centumcity Shinsegae UEC. In 2008, he took charge of the Design Division, focusing on mixed-use commercial facility design. Since 2010, he has overseen the company’s strategic planning. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Strategic Planning Division, acting as both a leader and facilitator in driving continuous innovation and integration in an increasingly competitive construction market.

Youngtaek Kim graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Architecture and obtained his master’s degree from the same university. In 1995, he joined POS-A.C., where he designed large-scale public and transportation facilities such as Jeonju World Cup Stadium and Gyeongju High-Speed Train Station. Since joining HAEAHN Architecture in 1999, he has focused on designing mixed-use facilities with an emphasis on residential complexes. He has proposed new typologies and programs for urban high-rise residential buildings through projects such as Seoul Forest Galleria Foret, the reconstruction of Hanyang Apartment in Yeouido, and Jayang 1 District. Beyond addressing diverse market demands, he places a strong emphasis on creating new urban identities through design. His vision has been realized in mixed-use office and commercial developments, including Magok One Grove, SOFITEL Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences, Jamsil Korva Tower, and Euljiro Pine Avenue.
Hankyu Kim

Graduating from the Department of Architecture at the University of Ulsan and earning a master’s degree from the same university, Hankyu Kim began his professional career at Himma Studio. There, he gained experience in hotel and residential projects, including the Park Hyatt Hotel in Samseong and the interior design of Samseong I’Park. In 2000, he joined HAEAHN Architecture, focusing on designing private mixed-use development projects, particularly those centered on residential complexes. He contributed to creating new types of high-rise residential buildings in urban areas through projects such as Sangam Kaiser Palace Classic, Galleria Foret, and Bucheon Kumho Richensia. Additionally, he has led private development projects that balance distinct placemaking with business viability by addressing market changes and demands. Notable projects include Gwanggyo Prugio Worldmark, Gwanggyo Avenue France, Gwanggyo The Sharp Lake Park Officetel, and Aliceville in Dongtan.
Joonsun Moon

Joonsun Moon graduated from the Department of Architecture at Kyungwon University and began his professional career at Gwangjang Architectural Environment Research Institute, where he gained experience in educational and religious facilities, including Segeomjeong Catholic Church. In 2000, he joined HAEAHN Architecture, where he designed Ilsan Lafesta and Western Dom, Korea’s first outdoor malls. Since then, he has focused on large-scale commercial facilities, working on projects such as Shinsegae Department Store in Jukjeon, Centum City Shinsegae UEC, the world’s largest department store, and Centum City B-Site. Additionally, he has worked on Songpa YZ The Sharp in Wirye. He also participated in theme park projects such as Hallyu World MXD District Zone 2 and the Mungyeong Film Culture Support Complex. Through these diverse experiences and expertise, he continues to contribute to solidifying HAEAHN Architecture’s leading position in the field of mixed-use commercial facility design.

Jinuk Choi majored in Architecture at Dongguk University and completed his master’s and Ph.D. degrees at Kyoto University in Japan. He worked at Ishimoto Architecture for 2 years before joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2004. He has carried out large-scale development projects such as Yongsan International Business District Urban Development, Pangyo Commercial PF Project, and Uzbekistan Tashkent Masterplan, building his expertise in the field of mixed-use development. Drawing on his background in policy consultancy and master planning for public organizations such as Korea Railroad, Korea Asset Management Corp., Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Korea Land & Housing Corp., he provides clients with diverse development solutions, earning their trust and enhancing the value of his designs.

Oh Hyunseok holds a degree in Architecture from Seoul National University, where he also completed his graduate studies. He gained experience in various architectural fields at Heerim Architects and SK Telecom before joining HAEAHN Architecture. Drawing from his extensive background in design competitions and overseeing large-scale projects like the headquarters for Korea’s largest telecom company, he has successfully led significant turnkey and technical proposal projects, including the Ansan Sangnok District Office, Songdo G Tower, Phase 2-2 Government Complex Sejong, Korean National Police University, and Incheon Airport Phase 3 Technical Proposal. Since joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2013, he has expanded his expertise through leading design projects such as Uijeongbu Eulji University and Medical Center, Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine, LH Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley Business Growth Center, Korea Development Bank Digital Square, and Daegu Government Integrated Computing Center. Minjin Park graduated from Hanyang University, studied Architecture and Urban design at UCLA Graduate School, and worked in the field of Architecture in Korea and the United States since 1995. He taught Architectural Design as an adjunct professor in Kwangwoon University, Korea University, Sejong University, and Hanyang University. From 2006, he entered HAEAHN Architecture where he led government office buildings and private enterprise projects including Yongsan Station Third District, Susong-dong Hotel and Office Complex, Ubiquoss Headquarters, SK CNC IT Center, Songdo Free Economic Zone Authority Building, Sejong-si Government Building District 2-2, and more. He is currently managing BH2 (Bio, Healthcare & Hi-Tech Architectural Design) Lab within his division and designing the KOLON Research Facility, Uijeongbu Eulji Hospital, and other special facilities that need advanced technology.

After graduating from the Department of Architecture at Seoul National University, he studied urban design at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies. Since 1987, he has been a member of Gansam Architects and has gained extensive experience in the design, supervision, and engineering of various buildings, as well as in urban-related projects such as master planning and urban environment maintenance. In 1992, he was dispatched to Nikken Sekkei Tokyo (日建設計 東京) in Japan, where he worked on airport and hotel projects in Tokyo, as well as some projects in China. At Gansam, he has been involved in numerous projects, including high-rise apartments, hotels, and office buildings. Since 2010, he has focused on the design of data centers and has gained extensive experience in this field. In 2020, he joined the Urban Design Division at HAEAHN Architecture and is now in charge of the design division 4.
Jonghyeok Lee

He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Seoul National University. With extensive experience in design competitions, construction management, and facility operations, he has led major projects, including the AMOREPACIFIC Headquarters in Seoul. His career spans roles at Klingstubbins (USA), HAEAHN Architecture, and AMOREPACIFIC, where he managed large-scale construction and remodeling projects. Since rejoining HAEAHN Architecture in 2020, he continues to drive organizational growth through his diverse expertise and strategic vision.
Geumyeol Ryu

He graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Chung-Ang University and led various projects at Changjo Architects, focusing on industrial and general architecture for the LG Group. He developed deep technical expertise in advanced industrial facilities, logistics centers, data centers, and research facilities, laying the foundation for the LG Group’s family look. Additionally, he contributed to landmark projects such as LG Art Center, GS Gangnam Tower, Kyobo Gangnam Tower, and LG Beijing Tower, setting standards for performance venues and premium office spaces. He also spearheaded coordination with international partners, ensuring seamless collaboration. Since joining HAEAHN Architecture, he has been leading high-tech industrial facility projects, establishing new standards for 'Smart factory'.
Seongho An

Seongho An completed his studies in Architecture at Daegu University and gained professional experience at Lee Jungho Architecture, Moram Architecture, Beyond Space, and Hangil Architecture before joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2006. Throughout his career, he served as a design executive in the Architecture Division at HAEAHN Architecture until 2014, leading large-scale complex development projects and public design competitions. From 2014 to 2018, he worked as a team leader at H Studio, where he proposed diverse and innovative design ideas for major domestic and international design competitions. Currently, he is the Head of Design Division 5, overseeing a range of projects, including special facilities, complex developments, and residential developments. His key projects include the Yongsan International Business District, HallyuWorld MXD District Zone 2, Korea Midland Power Headquarters, Jeonju District Court, Seun District 4 Urban Redevelopment, Webtoon Fusion Center & Youth Artist Housing in Bucheon, Bucheon Culture & Art Center, and the International Design Competition for the New Government Complex Sejong.
Harris Lim

As President of Design Div.5, Harris has dedicated his wide range of experience with architecture and urban design projects in Korea and overseas countries. In 2006, Harris had led Urban Design Division and won many international masterplan design competitions including ‘Multi-functional Administrative City Masterplan, Korea’, for which his team turned the innovative idea of architecture and urban design convergence into the reality with great global and domestic acknowledgements. Starting from the year of 2011, Harris had worked in mega scale Design Build delivery projects as the leader of Global Project Division. He achieved the successful design completion for the world largest Philippine arena and Bismaya New City, Iraq. As a part of the steering committee, HAEAHN played the crucial role from bid proposal / technical decision making / design supervision under his leadership. The aggregation of the hands-on experiences has served as the catalyst that has propelled design build service capability of HAEAHN. Since the year of 2019, Harris took the main control of the Health Care Design Team. Gunsan Jeonbuk National University Hospital, and Yeongnam Regional Infectious Disease Hospital have been successfully design completed under his control. In 2023, he further contributed to the growth of HAEAHN Architecture’s Health Care designs by winning major competitions, including the National Medical Center & Central Infectious Disease Hospital, Seoul National University Baegot Hospital , Gyeongsangnam-do Western Medical Center, and Seobusan Medical Center.
Wooil Chung

Wooil Chung joined HAEAHN Architecture in 2002 after graduating from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Jeonbuk National University. As an expert in residential design, he recognizes the importance of cities and their environments, where residential buildings account for over 45 percent of all structures in Korea. He focuses on creating spaces that can fully accommodate a person’s entire life.
Leveraging his expertise, he actively participates in residential projects led by major construction companies, developers, and public institutions such as Korea Land & Housing Corporation, contributing to HAEAHN’s expertise and portfolio in the residential sector. His key projects include THE H Xi Gaepo, Sejong Xi The CITY, the Bismayah New City Project(100,000-unit public housing), and numerous public and private sector townhouses.

At HAEAHN Architecture, Chungshik Kim has been involved in various professional fields, from design to research to planning building competency as an architect. Kim has dedicated himself to residential designs, particularly while participating in various residential design projects, including public housing, super high-rise residential complexes, and super-luxury private homes. Based on this experience, he has expanded his professionalism and experiences, covering business, commercial, and integrated facilities, and master plans. Presently, Chungshik Kim serves as a leader of Vision Group where architecture experts in design development and planning, phase environment, and design research collaborate, trying to provide more creative and in-depth designs to customers and society. He graduated from the Department of Architecture at Seoul National University and received a master’s from the Graduate School of the same university before joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2008.

Yongho Shin has led the Development Planning Studio in charge of business validity, risk analysis, and product development for private-sector development projects since 2015 based on his experience in the field of architectural planning. He graduated from the School of Architecture at Kyungbuk National University. To secure business validity of private-sector development projects, Shin proposes the most efficient development direction for the site by thoroughly reviewing market research by each facility from the initial design stage, development direction, and business validity and assists building owners in making fast and accurate decision by proposing various scenarios and possible real-time collaborations with various design experts. More recently, he proposed profit-generating models by planning business models and products for a new development project (Senior Co-housing).
Hwan Kim

Hwan Kim is a well-rounded expert with both practical and theoretical expertise, having gained experience in design, construction, and construction project management. He graduated from Inha University with a degree in Architecture, completed a doctoral program in Construction Project Management at Chungbuk National University, and served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Architecture at Mokwon University. As a project manager(PM), he led semiconductor cleanroom projects such as Samsung Electronics’ Pyeongtaek P3, Xi’an M Project in China, Dongtan 16 Line, and STATS ChipPAC SCK’s new plant. Through these projects, he not only developed a deep understanding of high-tech facility characteristics and processes but also gained extensive expertise in construction project management through collaboration with global clients, tenants, and CM firms. In the public sector, he managed the construction management of 9 stations for the Daejeon Metro and served as the lead PM for the National Assembly Communication Building project before joining HAEAHN Architecture. As the head of the High-tech Division, he plays a role in responding swiftly to project demands and trends while fostering the division’s growth into a specialized and highly professional unit.

Hoyoung Lee graduated from Inha University with a degree in Architectural Engineering and has built extensive expertise in key areas of the construction industry, including construction firms, CM firms, and PM firms. His major projects include Incheon International Airport, Suwon World Cup Stadium, the Seoul Station Redevelopment Project, Kyobo Life Insurance's Building in Gwanghwamun, Samsung Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital. Drawing on his diverse project experience, he served as the Head of the Core Technology Team and the Head of the In-House Development Team at Samoo. With his deep expertise in both on-site operations and In-house management, he currently oversees the overall execution of PM, CM, and construction supervision projects at HAEAHN Architecture. He is also responsible for quality and safety management and is committed to strengthening the CM Division by continuously implementing training programs that enhance individual ability.

Jongwon Eun graduated from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Korea University and worked for architectual consulting company and construction company for a total of 31 years from 1988. He has conducted office building and apartment project successfully for 9 years at the Doosan Construction & Engineering. He accomplished large-scale CM projects for 21 years, especially, he performed many projects for time management for 10 years at the SAMOOCM Architects & Engineers. In 2019, He joined HAEAHN Architecture in and currently, in charge of engineering department of PCM Business Unit.
Donghoon Choi

He holds degrees in Architectural Engineering from Myongji University and Business Administration from Hanyang University. Over a 23-year tenure at Samoo Architects, he gained extensive experience by participating directly and indirectly in various projects from the early stages, focusing on marketing and business development. He played a key role in securing major national projects, including the Institute for Basic Science, Taekwondo Park, Garak Market Modernization, Government Data Centers, medical facilities, and convention centers, contributing to successful acquisition through strategic support. After serving as Head of the Marketing Division at Shinhan Architects, he joined HAEAHN Architecture in 2021, where he now leads the Strategic Business Division, leveraging his extensive experience.

Jonghwa Lee is the head of Administration Division specialized in strategic planning, human resources and project management for leading overall growth of HAEAHN Architecture. With over 25 years of experiences in administration, he has extensive knowledge and experience in duty/performance appraisal system, strengthening business by efficient project management and creating creative corporate culture to make a global architectural firm. He has the bachelor and master degree in human resources in the Department of Business Administration of Hanyang University, and earned Finance MBA in Yonsei University Graduate School of Business. He has had several leadership positions since joining the HAEAHN Architecture in 2018, including as Chief of Administration Division in Samoo Architects and Engineers and the acting CFO in Hanglim Architecture.
Sungwon Kim

He gained extensive experience at DL E&C, Heerim, Haenglim, and Areum Architects. Since joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2013, he has been creating distinctive spaces and places across urban, complex, and architectural domains, bridging users and architects with a unique design spectrum. His key projects include the Master Plan for Seoul National University Siheung Smart Campus Master plan, the Institute for Basic Science Master Plan, the College of Engineering Master Plan at Seoul National University, Seoul Metropolitan Archives, Jeonju District Court, Chuncheon City Hall, and the National Aviation Museum of Korea. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Architecture from Seoul National University. Additionally, he completed the Ph.D. by Design Programme at The University of Sheffield in the UK. He is a member of the Architectural Institute of Korea, Korean Institute of Architects and the Korean Association of Urban Design.

Kwanghwan Lee graduated from University of Seoul majoring in Architectural Engineering and achieved his master’s and Ph.D degree from the same university and also completed a research program at the Business Administration School of Korea University. He gained his experience in carrying out major projects in Junglim Architecture including Yeonmugwan of the Blue House, Central Library of Silla University, Juan Presbyterian Church, National Museum of Korea, Sangam-dong World Cup Stadium, etc. From 2000, he has been contributing to the domestic urban development at Haehn Architecture, taking charge of Hannam-dong Hyperion, Walkerhill Hotel Acadia, Daegu World Mark West End, Reconstruction of Wanggung Apartment, Ahyeon District 3 Redevelopment, Namdaemun 5-ga Urban Environment Maintenance, etc. He is currently lecturing at Seoul National University and Inha University, and working for developing the domestic architectural culture as a member of Seoul Architectural Policy Committee, a member of Seoul Housing Support Center, an Architectural MP of Schematic Design for 2020 Seoul Housing Environment, etc. Based on these efforts, he was awarded the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs prize in 2012.
Segeun Ko

After 34 years of experience at the Seoul Metropolitan Government since in 1979, Segeun Ko entered HAEAHN Architecture in January of 2014 based on his various experiences in maintenance projects. He was responsible for Urban Planning such as District Unit Planning and Urban Development, Housing Maintenance, and Urban Environment Maintenance Projects and also set up Seoul’s District Unit Plan Guideline. Currently he is active as a specialist for Urban Regeneration Maintenance Projects based on his various experiences and good knowledge about district designation of the urban development projects, development planning and construction documents approval work of Eunpyeong New Town, Munjeong District, Gangil District, etc. and district designation and organizing planning of reorganization districts of Jangwi, Gireum, Imun, Hwigyeong, Dapsimni, Ahyeon, Wangsimni, etc.
Hyunkyung Lee

Hyunkyung Lee majored in Architectural Engineering in Chosun University and Graduate School of Chungnam National University. In 1986, he was commissioned at the army as an officer of military engineering, where he built his competence for 30 years in the field of design and construction management of military facilities started as a chief engineer to advisor and eventually commander. He especially played a major role in developing the management of national property and national defense military facility business and was honorably discharged from the army as colonel in June of 2015. He is currently in charge of strategic planning at HAEAHN Architecture, and is also playing a key role in the basis and expansion of designing and construction management for national defense military facility businesses.

Jaeok Cheong graduated from Gyeongsang National University with a degree in Architectural Engineering and obtained a Master of Engineering from the Graduate School of Construction Engineering at Chung-Ang University. He began his career as a public official at the Seoul Metropolitan Government, gaining experience in permitting general architecture and multi-family residential projects. He later worked at Bando and Junglim Architecture, where he managed redevelopment and reconstruction projects, including Geonwoo, Samik Green Complex 1, Seocho Woosung Complex 2, Samho Garden Complex 1, and Gajwa Jugong Complex 1. Since joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2012, he has actively contributed as an expert in urban redevelopment projects, leading project acquisitions in the field. His recent projects include major redevelopment and reconstruction initiatives such as Apgujeong District 5, Yeouido Hanyang Apartments, Gwangjang Apartments, Gwacheon Jugong Complex 4 & 10, Banpo District 3, Shinbanpo Complex 15, and Jamsil Jangmi Apartments. Additionally, he has been involved in numerous urban redevelopment projects, including Noryangjin District 1, Mia District 2, Busan Yeongdo District 1-5, and Shinwolgok District 1.
Sukhee Ahn

After studying Interior Design at the College of Art and Design, Ewha Womans University, Sukhee Ahn worked at SAC International Ltd., mostly on hotel interior designs, such as the Swiss Grand Hotel and Seoul Ramada Renaissance Hotel. She joined HAEAHN Architecture in 1996 to lead diverse interior design projects for business, residential, hotel, commercial, and retail facilities in Korea and abroad. She works on various collaborative projects with the Haeahn design team while broadening her horizon by carrying out independent interior design and supervision. Mikyoung Seo leads the Landscape Design division of HAEAHN Architecture, which aims to plan an integrated environment alongside nature. As a Registered landscape Design expert, she serves as a public landscape engineer for the Seoul Metropolitan Government and as a member of the Urban park committee, creative playground MA, and urban, architecture, and landscape review board – roles appreciated in urban society. After studying landscape Design at Kangwon National University, she attended the Seoul National University Graduate School of Environmental Studies and completed the Future Strategy for Urban Environment course. After winning the Sejong City Central Green Space International Competition, she worked on large-scale projects with social issues like the Yeongheung Forest Park Special Project for Private Enterprise and the EXPO Plaza Renewal Project. She has contributed to developing integrated design as an expert in landscape, ecology, and garden designs covering public facilities like the Chuncheon City Hall and other urban and high-end residential garden designs. Currently, she focuses on new paradigms for the urban environment through reconstruction plans by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
Youngsuk Kwon

After receiving a master’s degree from the Hongik Graduate School of Architecture and undergraduate study at the same university, Youngsuk Kwon worked at Samwoo Architects & Engineers for 20 years to acquire a wide range of architectural experiences by working on public facilities, resorts, and luxury homes as well as schematic design, turnkey, PF projects, construction document, site CA, etc. His work includes managing business facilities, public housing, semiconductor facilities, and executive BIM management based on his expertise in BIM, including establishing BIM strategy and systems, in addition to external activities like consulting on collaborations between industries, universities, and institutes and special lectures. He worked at SK Ecoplant Co. before joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2022. Presently, Kwon leads mid-to-long-term BIM strategy, standard, and solution development at the company’s IT research center and directs IT infrastructure, IT system, and data security management.

Hyunhwa Jung achieved both bachelor’s and master’s degree at Gyeongsang National University majoring in Architectural Engineering. He established and ran Eagon Architectural Firm in Changwon for 10 years, supervising and designing various buildings. He then entered Mooyoung Architecture and fulfilled many turnkey projects, such as Sangam-dong IT Complex, Advanced Institute of Convergence Technology, Anyang Hogae Sports Center, etc. and contributed to the company’s business as an Executive of handling sub-consultants in the planning division. He took the role as Chief Director of business strategy for 3 years, handling businesses in winning contracts and public project competitions. He also won design competitions of Korea National College of Agriculture and Fisheries, Jincheon Athletes Village, and EBS Headquarters, and entered HAEAHN Architecture in 2014 as an Business Executive in the Busan Office.

He started working at the Yamasaki Associates Architecture Office. After graduating from the College of Architecture and Engineering at Keimyung University, Jongeun Park worked on construction and estimates at a construction company. Based on this experience, he moved to Samoo Architects & Engineers to specialize in on-site CM tasks for large-scale projects. While working in the headquarters’ core technology team as a cost management office, he planned budgets, placed orders, made design alterations, and balanced accounts for various projects for ten years. His major works include Incheon International Airport Traffic Control Center, Suwon World Cup Stadium and Sports Center, Cancer Hospital at Samsung Seoul Hospital, Ewha Womans University Medical Center, and Seoul Hospital, in addition to budget plans for various projects by Samsung Electronics. Based on his experience on-site and at the headquarters, he currently directs cost management and technical support at the Engineering Office of HAEAHN Architecture.

While working at Samwhan Camus from 1987 to 1991, he worked as a middle-level manager to propel efficient construction in the design and construction fields. At SK Ecoplant, where he worked from 1991 to 2020, he worked as a construction team leader for large-scale projects, including the group’s headquarters, while directing various tasks as an engineer and operator equipped with a top-rated Engineering License to lead the construction project team, Engineering team, product development team, and design team. Recognized for his performance in systematic organizational management skills, he received awards as a group and an individual. After graduating from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Chosun University, he joined HAEAHN Architecture’s CM division in 2020 and worked as a Head of Division.

After graduating from the School of Civil Engineering at Catholic Kwandong University, Dukkyu Choi worked at Samoo Architects & Engineers for 22 years. His main projects as a CM and sales support manager include Government Complex Daejeon, SNU Cancer Research Institute, Incheon International Airport Traffic Control Center, Yeouido Lotte Castle Empire, KU Centennial Memorial Samsung Hall, Korea Teachers' Credit Union, The K Jirisan Family Hotel, and Suwon World Cup Stadium. After joining HAEAHN Architecture in 2019, Choi, as an expert in CM systems, bidding, contract, and planning, has participated in CM-related task forces, committees, and advisory boards. After joining HAEAHN Architecture, Choi has fully supported all areas of operation, including PCM projects, by establishing mid-to-long-term strategies in the field of PCM projects, marketing, and strategic planning.

Chanjae Oh majored in Architecture at Kyungnam University and achieved his master’s degree from the Graduate School of Housing in Seoul National University of Science and Technology. After graduating from the School of Architecture and Building Science at Chung-Ang University, Jaemin Yang built his career in architecture, starting with designing the Incheon International Airport, and from onward, he worked in various fields, from planning and designing to on-site construction.
