[News] Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Daejeon Convergence Special Video Content Cluster

On March 11, 2026, the groundbreaking ceremony for Daejeon Convergence Special Video Content Cluster was held in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. The event was attended by key officials, including Jangwoo Lee, Mayor of Daejeon-si, Wonhui Cho of the Daejeon-si Council. From HAEAHN Architecture, Taeman Kim was also in attendance.


Daejeon Convergence Special Video Content Cluster is a key initiative aimed at fostering Daejeon as a hub for special video content by leveraging existing production infrastructure such as Studio Cube. It will also serve as a catalyst for regional economic growth through the development of a content industry complex.


The cluster will consist of one basement level and eight above-ground floors, with a total gross floor area of approximately 33,528 square meters. It will include five professional studios, 80 office spaces for special video content companies, as well as educational, exhibition, and experiential facilities. Construction is scheduled for completion in October 2028, with an official opening planned for the first half of 2029.
