On September 30, 2025, the dedication ceremony for the Daejeon Government Complex was held in Seonhwa-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon. The event was attended by Jangseok Oh, Executive Director of the Public Development Division at KAMCO; Jongahn Ko, from the Ministry of Economy and Finance; and Jeseon Kim, Mayor of Jung-gu. From HAEAHN Architecture, Harris Lim participated in the ceremony and received a certificate of appreciation and a plaque from KAMCO in recognition of the firm’s contribution to the project.

The Daejeon Government Complex was planned as a multi-agency facility redeveloping the site of the former Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Police Agency building. The new complex accommodates four administrative institutions: the Daejeon Metropolitan Police Station, Daejeon Tax Office, Daejeon Regional Corrections Headquarters, and the Daejeon Electronic Monitoring Center. In particular, the design carefully harmonizes with nearby cultural heritage sites, including the Daejeon Modern History Exhibition Hall (Registered Cultural Property) and the former Chungcheongnam-do Police Officers’ Sports Facility, creating a space where history, culture, and public administration coexist in balance.
