Major facilities in a complex are New Medicine Development Support Center, High-tech Medical Equipment Development Support Center, Experiment Animal Center and New Medicine Development Production Center. A complex is built according to characteristics of each area: Daegue Sinseo Innovation City is set up based on Industrial Technology, while Osong in Chungcheonbuk-do is formed based on Bio Technology. Four concepts of this plan are as follows: Technology Link, which substantializes up-to-date research facilities based on the best ICR/BCR design technical skills in the world; Nature Link, which embodies a green network between the whole complex and surrounding nature by borrowing an organic combination between IT and BT; Human Link, which specifies a research complex which develops with a local community by constructing an open space for a communication with a local community; and Business Link, which functions as an industrial complex to jump up to the R&BD over R&D.
