“The H Xi Gaepo”, the reconstruction project of Gaepo Complex 8, can be found along Yeongdong-daero towards Daemosan Mt. Through the project, Haeahn Architecture aimed to create an exemplary urban residential design with an excellent landscape which also promoted communication between local communities. By planning the “Public Housing with an Outstanding Design” to be applied with “Special Architectural Zone,” Haeahn Architecture created a residential complex with a new format. In order to enhance publicity and improve the quality of public cohousing, Haeahn Architecture created a sense of harmony between low-, mid- and high-rise apartment buildings and made the complex occupant- and place-oriented by planning residents’ service facilities along the pedestrian path in the complex.
