Requested the cutting edge classical music venue in Bucheon, the city of art and culture, Our proposed ‘Music Hill’ where the people are exposed to the music and performance in diverse ways. The new music venue is sitting right next to the city hall and sharing the sized public square in the front, accordingly the primary key words of the concert hall design are openness to public and harmonious landscape. The ‘Music Hill’ is surrounded by four individual masses representing four musical instruments and different programs while connecting the public realm of pedestrian contexts. The concert hall is home to the Buchoen Philharmonic that has being in the limelight more than 30 years from home and abroad. Haeahn Architecture suggested one of the most acoustically sophisticated concert venue in Korea.
