With the concept ‘Living Together’, Busan Mandeok Residential Improvement District aims to suggest a residential environment improvement project with appropriate values through the coexistence of rent and sales, public and private, nature and urban, and existing residents and new residents. In order to realize this value, the complex was designed in the highest merit with the following features; a plaza that embraces the view and nature of the surrounding Baegyangsan Mountain and Mandeoksan Mountain, a main community street for people to congregate, all the residential buildings facing south, four-bay housing units considering the flow of natural ventilation, and special design in storages spaces within the units. Also the complex was designed in correspondence to the slope of the site with comfortable pedestrian roads to maximize the convenience for the residents.
